The Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum is a
501(c)(3) non-profit entity. The historic site
honors Amelia and her fellow women aviators
through educational and interpretive exhibits,
activities, and events. The Birthplace museum
shows the woman behind the myth. Visitors
witness first-hand how one's aspirations
can be attained through dedication, courage,
and foresight.
 
The Atchison community, the Ninety-Nines,
and other generous contributors like you enable
us to complete a large maintenance list which
includes $40,000 needed to make the museum's main entrance physically accessible, including wheelchair and limited mobility accessible. This generosity keeps the life of one of the most well-known historical women open to the public to learn and love.
